Shelton Barn

This barn stood on Ripton Rd. in Shelton, Ct and was built in 1915 (over 100 years old). It was built using materials from the original barn on the property that was dated back to the 1760's. Aside from some great wood including pine, hemlock, oak, and chestnut, we uncovered some very cool artifacts. Lining an old chest was some newspaper scraps and math paper with children's handwriting. The newspaper mentions the proposed "Dry Law", predating the American prohibition which started in 1920.
